The next round of betting is known as the flop. A flop is a set of three community cards. These cards are dealt clockwise around the table. When a jack appears, the deal is interrupted and a new round of betting begins.
If two identical poker hands have the same strength, a tie is formed. Ties are broken by the highest unmatched cards, then the winnings are divided equally.
The first betting interval involves a minimum ante. Typically, the ante is based on the stakes of the game.
The dealer button is a white plastic disk. This button determines the order of betting.
Cards are dealt clockwise from the button. For each hand, the player has the option to shuffle, raise, or fold.
